We offer training sessions onsite or offsite, fully customized to your needs and experience. The morning session is focused on developers whilst the afternoon session is focused on operations.
Morning
- Acunu Data Platform introduction and installation (EC2)
- Application design: data modeling, CQL, Cassandra APIs, denormalisation, examples and use cases
- Distribution model: eventual consistency, consistent hashing, replication, consistency levels
Afternoon
- Internals: data structures, SSTables, memtables
- Performance tuning and monitoring: garbage collection, compaction, JMX metrics
- Operations and troubleshooting: failure recovery mechanisms, bootstrapping and decommissioning nodes
